The Rhinoplasty Experience

Your rhinoplasty surgery will be performed while you are under general anesthesia. It should take between one and three hours to complete, depending on the specifics of your customized treatment plan and the extent of changes in which you are interested. Before your surgery, Dr. Porter will explain the technique she’ll be using to create your results.

After your surgery, you’ll be able to return home on the same day, but you’ll need a friend to drive you while the anesthesia wears off. You’ll need to rest at home for about a week before you’re able to return to work and other light activities. Your swelling should mostly resolve after about six weeks, at which point you’ll be able to appreciate your final outcome.
