Revision Rhinoplasty
Do You Need a Rhinoplasty Revision?
Many of our patients come to us with questions about the results of their previous rhinoplasty procedure. Some patients might find that they’re not as happy with the results as they thought they’d be. Others might realize that they’re having trouble breathing and that their previous procedure didn’t resolve the issue as effectively as they had hoped. Patients should know that a previous rhinoplasty will not preclude them from being ideal candidates for revision rhinoplasty surgery. Dr. Jennifer Porter, MD frequently works with patients who are unsatisfied with the results of a prior rhinoplasty surgery and is adept at addressing breathing issues, correcting cosmetic frustrations, and generally enabling patients to enjoy a nose that looks and functions in the way they would prefer. Are you ready to learn more about Dr. Porter and what she can do for you? Simply reach out to Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery at our welcoming Bethesda, Maryland location and speak with a team member to get started with your initial consultation today.
How Can Revision Rhinoplasty Help Me?
Revision rhinoplasty is a great way to ensure that you can enjoy the results of your rhinoplasty surgery. In many cases, patients come to us seeking revision rhinoplasty because they are simply not pleased with the cosmetic outcome created by the surgeon who performed their previous surgery. In addition to resolving this frustration, revision rhinoplasty can help you by finally enabling you to see the look you’d prefer in the mirror each day, which can be an especially thrilling experience if you’ve been let down by the results of another rhinoplasty surgery.
Revision rhinoplasty is also ideal for correcting functional issues that might have not been addressed properly—or have even been exacerbated—by the results of another rhinoplasty surgery. In these instances, revision rhinoplasty can help patients breathe properly, which goes a very long way toward restoring and enhancing their overall quality of life.
