The Consultation

The Procedure

Your rhinoplasty surgery will be performed while you are under general anesthesia. Dr. Porter will shape your nose according to your customized surgical plan and you’ll be able to return home the same day after spending some time in our recovery area.

The Recovery

After your procedure, you’ll experience some bruising and swelling that will take about one week to subside. After a week, you’ll be able to return to work and other light activities. Your swelling should have dissipated more completely after about six weeks.

Our practice will remain available to you at all times during your recovery period, and we’ll also be sure to schedule follow-up appointments with you so we can monitor your healing progress and ensure that you’re doing well.
