Nyeema Smalls
Chief Operating Officer
Nyeema is the Chief Operating Officer for Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery. She graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in mass communications and Wilmington University with a Master’s Degree in organizational leadership. Her education along with my years of healthcare knowledge has led her to work with the Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery team where she offers leadership and support with the wonderful business that the team has established. Nyeema finds that there are many opportunities to assist and educate patients and the community about facial plastic surgery. She feels highly privileged to work with a team that has made it their brand to help patients love their reflection by providing both non-surgical and surgical options for treatment, while maintaining honesty, integrity, and excellence in service.
Jennifer Cho
Clinical Assistant
Jennifer, a native of Northern Virginia, earned her B.S. in Biology from George Mason University. Her love for Korean skincare trends fostered her interest in aesthetics. When she is not assisting the doctors at Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery, she enjoys riding dirt bikes, going to wineries as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
Kelly Oswald
Patient Coordinator
Kelly, a native of the D.C. area, graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in public health. She has always had a passion for helping people feel their best and began her career in physical therapy. Kelly grew up in the cheerleading world and quickly learned the key to flawless make-up is a good skin care regimen. Kelly started as one of Dr. Porter’s patients where they instantly had a connection. She then joined Dr. Porter’s team in 2016 as the clinical assistant and in 2018, Kelly was promoted to patient coordinator. As a patient coordinator she is dedicated to educating the patients and coordinating the patients’ care for surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Kelly works hand in hand with our team to ensure each patient receives the utmost care. If Kelly is not at the office, she enjoys spending her time outside with her puppy, Pepper, or at hot yoga.
Katherine Sullivan
Patient Coordinator
Katherine attended Radford University and is so excited to be added to the Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery Team. She has a passion for helping others and making a positive impact on everyone she meets. Katherine moved to D.C. Area shortly after graduating from Radford University and quickly fell in love with the area. She grew up in rural Virginia and enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is not in the office!
Sytonnia Ball
Executive Assistant/Receptionist
Sytonnia received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Public Health at the College of William and Mary and is currently in Nursing School. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting, binge watching and spoiling her dog Cashmere. In her own words: "What interests me in aesthetics is my own love of skin care. Being a woman of color, it is not always easy to find products and treatments that are suitable or safe for my skin, so I’ve always done my due diligence to research anything I’m using. When I found CCFPS and saw that they strive to provide safe and impactful treatments for all skin types, it was like a match made in heaven!"
Meghan Fay
Aesthetic Nurse
A native of the D.C. area, Nurse Practitioner Meghan grew up in Alexandria, Virginia before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University. Her commitment to continued education brought her back to Arlington, Virginia, where she earned both an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing degree, from Marymount University. Meghan is passionate about helping others feel their best and strives for a detailed, holistic approach to patient care. When not in the office or studying, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and munchkin cat, Lola.
Mical Alazar
Aesthetician
Driven by her passion for skin care, Mical attended Canadian Beauty College earning her Diploma in medical aesthetics. She enjoys learning about skincare and cutting-edge aesthetic treatments and uses her knowledge to educate clients and make them feel confident in their own skin. After earning her diploma, Mical honed her craft at an upscale medical spa in Toronto, Canada. There she was able to develop a specialization in microneedling, chemical peels and customized treatments. Now that she’s relocated to Maryland, Mical is excited to join the team at Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery. When she’s not at work, Mical loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
