Enjoy Your Ideal Look with Chin Implants

While there are many components that contribute to an individual’s sense of facial harmony, it’s no secret that the chin and jawline are two of the most important. Feeling dissatisfied with the chin that you were born with can truly be a frustrating experience. Thankfully, Dr. Jennifer Porter and her team are here to help.

Chin implants can help you enjoy a more contoured and defined facial shape. This can strengthen your jawline, give you a more elegant set of facial contours, and generally leave you with a look that you find more attractive and pleasing to the eye.

This procedure is just one of many ways that we can help you enjoy your ideal look, and Dr. Porter is excited to call upon her decades of experience and keenly developed aesthetic eye to create your ideal facial rejuvenation results. To learn more, reach out to Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery at our Bethesda, Maryland location and set up your initial consultation today.

Preparing Your Treatment Plan

For more than 20 years now, Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery has been creating exemplary results for patients in Bethesda, Maryland, and the surrounding areas. We’re pleased to be offering patients a wide range of both surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation services, and often combine multiple treatment modalities to create well-balanced, comprehensive results for our patients. When you visit us for your initial consultation, you’ll work directly with an expert practitioner to explore the various treatment options we have available, creating a bespoke treatment plan that is directly tailored to your cosmetic goals and personal lifestyle.

The Chin Implant Experience

Chin implants can be placed relatively quickly and easily, with the procedure typically taking less than a full hour to complete. Dr. Porter will make a discrete incision that will be carefully placed to minimize their visibility. The artificial chin implant that has been customized to your facial contours is then positioned to create your ideal look. During your consultation, Dr. Porter will explain her surgical technique to you, go over incision placement, and generally give you an idea of exactly what you can expect from the procedure.

After your chin implant has been placed, you’ll be able to return to your normal routine (except more rigorous types of physical activity) after about one week of recovery. At this point, your implants will be stable and in its permanent position. We’ll provide you with aftercare instructions that enable you to maximize your comfort and results. The recovery period may change if you are having additional procedures performed, and we’ll give you a clear idea of what you can expect.

Why Our Patients Love Chin Implants

Chin implants give our patients a way to effectively augment their facial contours and proportions, creating an enhanced sense of facial harmony. Our patients often report how impressed with Dr. Porter’s ability to create subtle, naturalistic results that truly enhance her patients’ appearances without noticeably changing them.
